Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless on Thursday, November 7, 2024, when Victor pulls out all the stops to surprise Nikki, Diane sends a cryptic message, and Daniel’s arrest causes issues for Summer and Chance.
What to expect on The Young and the Restless
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) hasn’t been too pleased with Victor (Eric Braeden) lately. She found out that he was doing things not quite on the up-and-up where the Hamiltons and Abbotts were concerned.

However, Nikki’s well aware of Victor’s capabilities and how ruthless he (too) can be when he has his eye on a prize.
This week, however, Victor’s prize is making Nikki happy, and he has a secret. Nikki has hinted lately about Victor having a surprise for her, but she meant that he would give her the CEO position at Chancellor Industries when they take over the company.
Business aside, Victor has another big reveal: He has been secretly working on a project for a while, and when she sees it, Nikki will forget all the reasons she was upset with her husband last week.
Hint: The huge surprise will also be a major surprise for Devon (Bryton James) and Abby (Melissa Ordway), and their wedding day.
The brilliant detective
At Heather’s (Vail Bloom) memorial service, Chance (Conner Floyd) felt like all eyes were on him — and they weren’t pleasant.
Summer (Allison Lanier) agreed and explained that everyone at the service knew that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) was incapable of hurting Heather. Chance arrested Daniel and charged him with murder, but he said he was only doing his job.
The problem is that Chance assigned himself to the case and then solely focused on Daniel. It was like he looked for clues to condemn Summer’s brother rather than clear him.
Now that Daniel’s life is upside down and Summer’s family is hurting, Chance is no longer her hero. She knows that Chance has a lot of great qualities, but if he could be involved in Daniel’s pain, he must know that it will change the dynamics between him and Summer.
On Thursdays, Chance finds out that his actions have impacted his relationship. Is he willing to start looking at other suspects or review the clues so that he can help Daniel before it’s too late?

If Chance can’t be loyal to the Romalottis, then there may be no future for him with Summer, regardless of how things turn out for Daniel.
