Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is worried about Jack (Peter Bergman). With his marriage falling apart in such a public way, Nikki checks in on Jack and asks if he’s considering turning to pills to cope.

Jack assures Nikki that although he’s lost his wife and son, he won’t lose his sobriety. He suggests that if Nikki is keen to help, she should tell Victor (Eric Braeden) to get his claws out of Kyle. How will Nikki justify what Victor is doing?
Out with the new, in with the old
Diane (Susan Walters) made an impression on Victor when she told him how enraged she was about Jack and Kyle (Michael Mealor) — and that she wanted his help getting revenge on her family.
Nikki was very much against Victor entertaining Diane, but Victor seemed intrigued. On Monday, Diane gets a call. Is Victor on board to become her ally?
Meanwhile, Traci (Beth Maitland) is rattled, as she has had a front-row view of Jack and Diane’s marriage's demise. One day, everything was great. Then, they announced an annulment in front of her the next.
Traci goes to Diane for answers. Will Diane make it all make sense, or will she shock Traci even more?
Another couple on the rocks
When Nikki finds out what Victor has been doing with Kyle, she has something to tell her husband.
However, Victor isn’t pleased to know that Nikki and Jack have been talking. What is it that makes Victor tell his wife to move in with his archenemy?

Kyle is torn. He didn’t realize that his parents’ relationship was teetering on the edge, but he found out — along with half of Genoa City — when they publicly erupted at the Athletic Club. At home, Kyle saw his dad double down on his insults towards Diane, and he kicked her out of the house and Jabot.
Kyle couldn’t believe Diane prioritized her dreams for power and prestige as the reason she came back into their lives.
Kyle turns to Claire (Hayley Erin) to help him navigate his thoughts and feelings. Claire tells him that she was raised to analyze people and thinks she has a good read on Diane. What insight does Claire give Kyle, and will it help or hurt his relationship with Jack?
Daniel is arrested
Phyllis can’t believe it when Chance cuffs Daniel and takes him away. She almost gets herself arrested in the process.
Frantic that everything is spiraling, Phyllis is enraged when Christine arrives and claims to want to help Daniel. With everyone reminding Phyllis how she’s done so much wrong to so many people in Genoa City, will she trust that Christine won’t use the situation as payback to Phyllis?
