Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless on Monday, November 18, 2024, when Jack and Diane aren’t the only ones with some explaining to do.

What to expect on The Young and the Restless

After Sharon’s admissions on Friday, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is reeling. He went from a joyous occasion where he watched his sister get married amongst friends and family to hearing a crash and seeing flames, only to realize it was someone he cared for in the car.

Nick saved Phyllis’ (Michelle Stafford) life, but Sharon’s is now teetering on the edge of disaster. Nick is usually Sharon’s savior, but this time, she is determined to make him accept what she is saying.

Will Nick be in denial and look for excuses to ignore Sharon’s confession? Or will he call Chance?

Phyllis in the hospital

Things are tense at the hospital when Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Summer (Allison Lanier) rush to Phyllis’ side, only to find their mom unconscious and in critical condition.

Elena (Brytni Sarpy) is able to explain Phyllis’ status, but is there anything she can do?

Summer wonders why Nick hasn’t come to the hospital. When Chance (Conner Floyd) gets there, he thought Nick would have arrived already as he left the scene before Chance did.

Before Chance can be of any support, he receives a call and has to leave.

Trying to understand what happened, all Summer knows is that someone ran their mom off the road. Will Daniel suspect it was Sharon?

Acting class

Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walter) admitted to Kyle (Michael Mealor) that everything from their public fights to the demise of their marriage had been a ruse in an effort to show him that Victor was not the friend he thought that he was.

On Monday, Jack and Diane need to explain themselves to Kyle and help him make sense of their plan, why they did it — and what was real and what was not.

But it’s not just Kyle who needs to figure it out. Executing their plan meant that Diane had to fight with Kyle, and they both made some fairly ugly comments. Can Diane differentiate when Kyle was just expressing himself out of anger and which horrible comments he meant?

There has been a lot of damage done. Will Kyle even hear out his parents when they try to explain?
