The Young and the Restless teasers for Monday, February 10: Harrison plays matchmaker, and Victor does the opposite

What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Claire (Hayley Erin) has high hopes on turning her grandfather’s opinion around. But she hasn’t taken into consideration that he has spent decades hating on the Abbotts. From Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) relationship with Billy (Jason Thompson) to Victor’s (Eric Braeden) own lifelong vendetta against Jack (Peter Bergman), the last thing he wants is Claire to be in love with an Abbott.

However, there is another Newman who was married to an Abbott — but she’s still involved. While Claire seeks advice from Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria on how to win a fight with Victor, she’s already losing half the battle as he’s always one step ahead.

Summer (Allison Lanier) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) have a son together, and Harrison (Redding Munsell) would love for his family to be back together. He loves Claire, too, but Harrison wants his parents to reunite. On Monday, Victor undermines Kyle. Will Harrison be the boost that Victor didn’t know he had on his side?

Status check

On Monday, Victoria and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discuss family matters. To say there’s stuff to talk about is an understatement. Victoria and Nick have been through the wringer the last few months. Since Heather died, Nick’s world was turned upside down, caring for Sharon (Sharon Case), searching for her, and then there was her arrest. Nick has exhausted himself trying to be her hero, or at least, her champion.

Then Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Claire were in danger and they didn’t know it, followed by the showdown at the ranch with Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and then Ian (Ray Wise), when all of their lives could have ended tragically.

Victor wanted to have a conversation with Victoria about what life would be like without him in it, but it upset her too much to talk about. Still, it’s a reality that she and Nick have to face. Nick also had a similar conversation with Adam (Mark Grossman) recently. Is it time for the Newman kids to bond about their futures?

Can I borrow a cup of sugar?

Now that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has moved into the ranch, she has new neighbors. Surrounded by Newmans, there’s one neighbor she hasn’t seen much of lately.

Now that Sharon (Sharon Case) is back on track, she welcomes Chelsea to the neighborhood. On Monday, Chelsea sets the record straight with Sharon. Is that she wants her to that Adam’s available — or that he’s not?
