What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Claire (Hayley Erin) shared a huge amount of information on Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) lap. Not only is Jordan (Colleen Zenk) back in Genoa City, but Claire wants to kill her. But the only way that Claire would talk was if Nikki and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) promised to keep it all a secret.

Nikki’s in a bind now. She needs to talk Claire out of her murder plot or else she’s going to wind up in prison, but if she tells anyone, it could all go sideways before she has a chance to get control of the situation.

Meanwhile, Victor (Eric Braeden) is looking for the somewhat familiar-looking sidekick of Ian’s (Ray Wise) that kidnapped Sharon. Like Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) said, if they identify who the person in the security camera footage is, they’ll lead them to Sharon before it’s too late.

Victor and Nick could piece it all together if they knew Jordan was also in town. On Friday, Victor can tell Nikki is hiding something from him, but never would he guess what this secret is. Will Nikki tell him the truth?

Claire is determined to keep her family safe — and by family, we mean everyone but her Aunt Jordan. Clairie believes the woman is rotten to the core and the only way to deal with her is to wipe her from the earth. We know Claire has it in her, after all, she was helping Jordan kill the Newmans just over a year ago. But now, reformed Claire wants to target the source of all evil and knock her off.

Can the student defeat the master? On Friday, Claire threatens Jordan but other than breaking her heart of stone a little, will Jordan really be daunted by threats from the girl she raised? Or, realizing Claire lied and has turned against her, does she feel the walls closing in and make a desperate decision?

In the sewer, Sharon managed to reach a steel rod to help her try to break the chain that is keeping her prisoner but it’s not that easy to do. On Friday, Sharon struggles to escape. Can she save herself or will Nick find her in time — or will Jordan double down before she can get out?
