The Young and the Restless teasers for Friday, December 6, 2024: Summer wants attention, and Nikki speaks her mind

What to expect on The Young and the Restless

Victor (Eric Braeden) sold off all of Glissade’s subsidiaries and assets and handed Diane (Susan Walters) an empty shell of a company. What he didn’t know was that Jack (Peter Bergman) gobbled them back up. Now, Jack has offered Diane the chance to run Glissade as part of Jabot.

Diane has been telling Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Jack that she wants them to work together running Jabot as co-CEOs and that she willingly stepped down for Kyle’s sake. Victor saw the look of power hunger in her eyes, and he knows the real Diane, or at least he believes he does.

Could Victor be plotting another move? His goal was to break up Diane and Jack and seeing them together and happy may be worse than her being successful at any company.

On Friday, Victor calls Diane’s bluff. What are they up to now?

Meanwhile, back at the ranch

Jack saw the ranch house at Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding, but he and Diane had a lot going on that night, and checking out Victor’s new digs wasn’t one of them.

On Friday, Jack revisits the new house, and this time, he takes a better look. He has his own memories of the former ranch house that the new one replicates, as he lived there when he was married to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).

Nikki is not happy at all about Diane and Jack’s trickery. She believed they were on the outs and couldn’t have been happier about it. Realizing now that they were fooling everyone with their public displays of dissatisfaction, Nikki feels all sorts of things. Is it more than one-upping Victor in their lifelong feud? Is Nikki jealous of Jack and Diane’s relationship?

Or is Nikki upset that she had Jack’s back to the point that she was concerned about him going back to abusing pills and he was lying to her face? It was an extreme plan that they carried out, but was there more to it?

On Friday, Nikki questions Jack’s motives.

Mixed Signals

Claire (Hayley Erin) suspected that Summer (Allison Lanier) might not be sharing her honest feelings with her and isn’t happy about her relationship with Kyle after all. When she approached them at Society, demanding to know if they were more than just friends, she seemed very satisfied when it was implied they were just close buddies as Kyle went through a hard time.

But when Summer sees Claire at Crimson Lights, does she think there’s more going on than she realizes? Kyle knows Summer well enough to know what she really means when she says a double entendre. On Friday, Kyle receives mixed signals from Summer. If she is wanting Kyle back, would he be interested? Or are her intentions anything more than just not wanting others to be happy when she is not?

Kyle reassures Claire, but does Summer have him thinking?
