The Young and the Restless teasers, April 3: Lauren asks Nikki for a favor 

Here are your spoilers and teasers for The Young and the Restless for April 3rd.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is a man of many moods — and many allies. He's recruited Lily (Christel Khalil) as an ally in what could very well be a battle with Alexander Dumas. But he's not going to count on just her to do his bidding. On Thursday, watch for Victor to enlist the support of his trusted attorney, Michael (Christian LeBlanc).

The mustached mogul is going to order Michael to play hardball. We know that Michael is certainly capable of doing so — in most cases. Michael (probably) won't want to do anything illegal, and he has Victor's best interests at heart. Of course, those two desires have the potential to come into conflict.

One reason that Michael is so valuable to Victor is that he understands the man. When Victor gives him an order, we usually see Michael do more than carry it out. The legal eagle will analyze why Victor asks him to do something and, when he can, he'll offer Victor his opinion on his battle plan.

Caring Sister-In-Law

Diane (Susan Walters) has proved herself time and time again in her efforts to show Jack (Peter Bergman) that she cares about her husband. Diane not only loves her mate, but she also cares about the entire Abbott family, which includes Traci (Beth Maitland). We've seen Jack stand by Traci as she has shared her suspicions about Alan (Christopher Cousins) and the possibility that he — whoever he is — could be behind the kidnapping ordeal of Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

Traci gave Diane the benefit of the doubt on occasion, hoping that the family could heal and move forward. Now, it's time for Diane to be concerned about Traci. On Thursday, Diane talks to her sister-in-law and supports her.

Who You Know

Watch for Lauren (Tracey Bregman) to seek out an audience in Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) on Thursday. Lauren and Nikki haven't interacted a great deal over the years, but their respective husbands, Michael and Victor, are in business together. That ties the two women together.

Perhaps what Victor is asking of Michael is something that could not only put Victor in jeopardy but also adversely affect Michael. Lauren's ask could potentially rock Victor and Nikki's marriage as Lauren tells Nikki that she needs her to betray Victor! We suspect that Lauren's interests lie in wanting to see that her husband is protected.
