When talking to the private investigator, Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins), Nate figured out that there was a mystery surrounding his half-brother. Denise had discovered a pattern: the apartments Damian had lived in were all managed by Danglars Properties. Additionally, all of his jobs have been affiliated under the same umbrella company, Monte Cristo Investments.
Nate said in the book The Count of Monte Cristo that the villain was named Danglar. He had unjustly imprisoned the main character, who later came into a fortune. Nate said the man escaped, remade himself, and set out to avenge his wrongful incarceration. Amy confirmed that Damian loved the book growing up and wore #34 on his basketball jersey, which was the prison cell number in the story. Nate was intrigued about what it all meant but knew he’d have to meet Damian to get the answers.
On Wednesday, Nate meets his brother Damian. Will he figure out what the novel has to do with Damian, or will Damian be onto Nate's mysterious head-hunting instead.
Back in Genoa City
Billy (Jason Thompson) has been plotting to get revenge on Victor (Eric Braeden) by taking back Chancellor. He made a deal with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to work on his plan under the condition that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) becomes a key figure when they get control of the company. However, as eager as Billy is to get the plan going, he has been offered a distraction — to put some pleasure into a business trip with Sally (Courtney Hope) in Paris.
When Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) sees Billy, she has her own advice about Billy's need for revenge and gives her her advice, although she knows he's not going to like what she has to say.
Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) strategizes with Lily (Christel Khalil) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) on what they'll do if Nate's meeting with Damian goes sideways. To Lily, it might be worse if the meeting goes well, and Nate brings his brother back to Genoa City.
