What to expect on The Young and the Restless
Nate (Sean Dominic) has been updating Amy (Valarie Pettiford) every step of the way during their search for Damian (Jermaine Rivers). They discussed who Damian was, tried to predict his thoughts, and came up with a story of how to lure Damian to Genoa City so that Amy could reunite with her son.

When Nate told Amy about his conversations with Damian, something didn’t ring right with her. Amy had described her son as a hot head, and his temper would flare when they disagreed. She was shocked that Nate was describing the man he met as mellow and controlled.
Of course, it makes perfect sense that Damian wasn’t responding to Nate in a recognizable way for Amy. Damian wasn’t Amy’s son. The man that Nate has been meeting with is Holden, who works for Damian and was asked to pose as his boss to find out Nate’s real intentions.
After doing a background check on Nate, Damian now knows that Amy used to work for Nate’s father. Holden agrees to meet with Nate again because Damian wants some answers.
On Thursday, Holden (Nathan Owens) goes back to Nate’s. He’s more than fine to be seeing Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver) again, but this time, Holden gets (and gives) more than everyone expected. When Amy sees Holden at Nate’s, she announces that the man in Nate’s living room is not her son.
But Amy’s condition is getting worse, and Audra is getting worried. They need to get to the real Damian and let him know that his mother is terminally ill. Will Damian even want to hear it? He cut off his mom years ago and isn’t keen on how he’s being hunted.
Elsewhere in Genoa City
It hasn’t even been 24 hours since Victor (Eric Braeden) was shot in the main house’s living room on the Newman ranch. But the Newmans are determined to move forward and count their blessings. Victor is staunch about being strong and realistic about the future. Claire (Hayley Erin) didn’t grow up in that type of environment, and between her conversation with the Abbotts over lunch about family traditions and making memories and seeing firsthand how the Newmans bound together, she realizes more and more what — and who — is most important to her.
Claire and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) had just begun working together at Chancellor when all hell broke loose with Ian. On Thursday, Nikki and Claire discuss life and relationships and Nikki teaches Claire a valuable lesson.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) is forced to defend his actions on Thursday. Is he not on board with Diane’s (Susan Walters) idea to update the Abbott mansion? Hopefully, he didn’t make her feel like it wasn’t her home in his reaction.
