On The Young and the Restless, Lily Brooks O’Briant’s character, Lucy Romalotti, had a very rough year in 2024, but off camera, she’s a rising star with a singing career that is taking off.
Lily Brooks O'Briant on The Young and the Restless
On The Young and the Restless, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O'Briant) spent most of last year in angst. She struggled through a rebellious stage of underage drinking, trying to hang out with older teens, and being publicly scolded by Sharon (Sharon Case). Just when Lucy got her act together, her whole world blew up when her mom, Heather Stevens, was murdered.

Lucy’s dad, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), was framed and charged with her murder, so to avoid more damage for Lucy, he sent her to go on tour with her grandfather, rock star Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). There, she was up on stage, doing the choreography with the dancers and enjoying being part of the show. That portrayal of Lucy as a performer was told but not seen, but ironically, it was getting close to art imitating life for Lily Brooks O’Briant.
Lily Brooks O'Briant’s other life
It turns out that the actress who plays Lucy has a secret talent we haven’t experienced on the show: Lily Brooks O'Briant is a talented singer.
In addition to having a new song, Get In Line, drop on Friday (pre-save available now), she’ll also be performing. On Monday, January 27, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., O’Briant will be performing at The Troubadour.
The historic nightclub is known for being a career launching pad for singers, songwriters, and even comedians. In the 1960s, comedian Lenny Bruce made the news after being arrested at The Troubadour for obscenity for using the word “schmuck.” In the 70s, Cheech & Chong and Steve Martin were discovered there, and the stage was graced by Elton John, as well as Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band as they were starting out. Many well-known performers and bands, like Gun N’ Roses, were discovered onstage at The Troubadour.
That said, this isn’t Lily Brooks O’Briant’s first time being part of the club’s musical history. As are many of the cast and crew of The Young and the Restless, O’Briant has been doing her part to help provide relief for fire victims by performing live in concert. Catch her set on Monday at The Troubadour, located at 9081 N Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood.
You can catch Lily Brooks O'Briant as Lucy Romalotti on The Young and the Restless weekdays on CBS or stream on Paramount Plus.
