The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives, and General Hospital stars off-screen

On The Young and the Restless, our favorite Genoa City residents have been spending most of their time plotting revenge, murder, and how to escape their newest predicaments. But in real life, the stars of the show, as well as those from Days of our Lives and CBS' upcoming Beyond the Gates, were out and about and enjoying their long weekend.

Courtney Hope, otherwise known as Sally Spectra on The Young and the Restless (and The Bold and Beautiful, for that matter), spent some time at the gym and shared her workout.

Eileen Davidson, who plays Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless (and, at one point, its sister show, The Bold and the Beautiful), is married to Vince Van Patten. The actor, writer, producer, and host of The World Poker Tour had hip surgery recently, and they showed his remarkable recovery on Instagram. Walking the length of the backyard patio and back, Van Patten said, “It is Day 5, hip surgery, it’s Friday, and I’m walking pretty well!”

Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) went home to watch a Los Angeles Rams game, but stopped in at the Farmers Market beforehand.

Bryton James, who plays Devon Hamilton on The Young and the Restless, was all smiles when he was out with friends for dinner and a birthday celebration.

On Y&R, Lucy Romalotti's grandfather is a rock star, singing on stage and doing a world tour. In real life, Lily Brooks Obriant (Lucy Romalotti) is also a singer — and an amazing one! She performed on the weekend as part of a fundraiser for fire victims. You'll be able to get her new album soon.

How other soap stars spent their weekend

Jen Jacob (Ashley Morgan, Beyond the Gates) spent time with friends, family, and loved ones — and a special furbaby, who celebrated a 4th birthday.

Jen Lilley made us laugh over the weekend. On Days of our Lives, Lilley was Theresa Donovan from 2013 to 2023, and Maxie Jones on General Hospital from 2011 to 2012. She posted a video of her drinking coffee while pondering, “My hobbies include starting new projects when I’m already overwhelmed, screenshotting recipes and crafts I will never make, and filling up my shopping cart and not buying anything.” Lilley added to the list in her caption, “Or buying books that I probably won’t be able to read until my kids are fully grown. How about you? #momlife”

Tamara Braun, who plays Ava Vitali on Days of our Lives, gave an update to a live Zoom fundraiser called Daytime Makes a Difference. She had joined other DAYS and General Hospital stars and reportedly raised over $28,000 for fire relief.

Daphnée Duplaix, who will play Nicole Dupree on the new CBS daytime sudser, Beyond the Gates, shared an adorable picture of her at home getting her makeup done by one of her favorite artists.

Daphnée’s co-star, Timon Kyle Durrett, who will play Bill Hamilton on Beyond the Gates, had a busy weekend. He hosted the MLK Jr. Beloved Community Awards in Atlanta. The MLK, Jr. Beloved Community Awards recognize national and international individuals and organizations that exemplify excellence in leadership, pursue social justice, and are helping to create the Beloved Community, as envisioned by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
