Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened (again) on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, forget Punxsutawney Phil, it’s Genoa City Chelsea who is seeing Victor’s shadow. Chelsea's first day at Newman Media didn't go so well, but not to worry, she's getting a do-over. Just like her actual first day at work, Victor dropped by and ordered Adam to go after Billy. This second go-around was a bit better, though, at least this time, Chelsea got a fruit basket. But while Chelsea put Pearl Jam on repeat down the hall, her “Better Man,” Adam, was having his job threatened if he didn’t do Victor's dirty deeds. Of course, if Adam’s canned, Chelsea would be, too. Shouldn’t Chelsea have thought about this before quitting her career at Marchetti? She didn’t even ask Adam how he would handle it if Victor ordered another hit piece on Billy…and so here we are. Adam’s caught between a rock and a hard place, Chelsea’s determined to keep Adam’s conscience alive and kicking, and both of them swear that they are still committed to their goal — which is unclear, but from what we’ve heard them say, they want to do good things and make people feel good. Cool. But…moments later, Adam suggested that the only way out of this mess is by creating a fake scandal to distract Victor. Yes, that sounds ludicrous written out, but it wasn’t any better when they said it, either. The strangest part was that Chelsea thought wrecking someone else's life was a great idea. Can’t wait to see what she accomplishes on Day Two.
