On The Young and the Restless, actress Emme Rylan cleverly added comic relief amongst the drama when she was Abby “The Naked Heiress” Newman (Melissa Ordway now plays the role). Rylan is also known to General Hospital fans as the former Lulu Spencer.
Emme Rylan, The Young and the Restless alum
On Instagram, The Young and the Restless alum Emme Rylan eagerly sold her followers, “It’s 10 o’clock at night, but I just opened up my mail, and my new LED light is here. I’m so excited!” Emme explained it wasn't an ad, and she didn’t have a discount code; she was just genuinely thrilled that the light arrived and wanted to share it with her followers. What happened next was hilarious.

Emme shared that she loved the last LED light mask that she had. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn’t survive the pandemic, and she couldn’t get the same product anymore and lost the one she had. “Somehow, in the move, I couldn’t find it. And then I went down a huge rabbit hole looking at all the masks, and I ended up going with the original LED light mask that I had years ago, the one that I kept in my General Hospital dressing room and used all the time,” Emme added.
The actress decided how to choose. “There are a ton of brands out there that look good, but I just know that the Project E Beauty one worked. So basically, this is my Christmas present. I thought, you know, I could be fancy and do an ‘unboxing,’” Emme said with air quotes. She decided against the idea since it was so late at night, and she wanted to use it before she went to bed.
Emme was pleased that the mask came with an attachment to cover the neck and chest area, something her previous models didn’t have. Struggling to open the box with one hand while she held the camera with the other, Emme laughingly said she’d take a screenshot.
Instead, she returned with a video with the mask on her face and howling with laughter. “I’m so excited!” she exclaimed. Emme noted that she’d seen people using the soft, flexible mask but hadn’t tried it herself — until now. Emme kept getting more and more excited with anticipation. She eventually pulled off the mask to remove her makeup and was going to come back to try it for the first time. Instead, she came back laughing.
“I read the directions,” Emme giggled. The mask needed to be charged for five hours first. So much for wanting to try it before bed, but whatever her regime has been — it works!
