Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

Victor always seems to make the time to get involved in the lives of his enemies. And his friends. And his family. Okay, so Victor makes the time to stick his nose where it doesn’t belong, no matter who it is — it’s just the excuses that change, depending on his audience. But what is The Great Victor Newman thinking, showing up at Crimson Lights with his petty pants on? Acting like that in front of Claire about the man she thinks she loves isn’t scoring him any points; it’s only turning her into a Victoria 2.0 and, therefore, a Victor 3.0. Usually, Victor is much more discreet around his targets, but something about Kyle brings out his inner high-school mean girl. And speaking of Kyle, the same can be said for him. Taunting Victor to show himself to Claire by basically reminding him they have sex now is really…well, unattractive. If Claire pauses a moment to realize that the two men in her life who mean the most to her (sans Cole) are acting so childish, it can’t be that motivating to put either of them on a pedestal. Maybe while Victor and Kyle hipcheck one another to mark their territory around the coffee shop, Holden will tempt her to slip out the patio and go to a grown-up bar instead. We’re here for it if Claire wants to up her flirt-to-naughty ratio with Holden. He’s sauve, polite, hot, and professional, and could do laps around the other men in her life. Gotta wonder if Victor would be okay with that relationship if it ever came to be.
