Fans of The Young and the Restless are being offered another chance to meet some of their favorite stars of the show by supporting Kate Linder’s (Esther Valentine) charity event in Canada.

The Kate Linder & Friends charity event will be held in Ontario, Canada, on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Linder will be accompanied by her Y&R castmates Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Bryton James (Devon Winters), Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings), and Conner Floyd (Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV). Global TV’s “The Morning Show” and “Global News” entertainment reporter Morgan Hoffman will be emcee.

With Kate Linder as host and Christian LeBlanc as co-host, the “after BREAST CANCER presents the Shine a Light on Breast Cancer Brunch” will have a question and answer session with the cast, an autograph session with the stars (one item per person limit), and a live and silent auction. The auction participants will get a chance to place bids to win a personal tour of the Y&R set — with Linder as their personal guide.

“One special item that you can’t get anywhere, and that’s a tour of Genoa City with me,” Linder said enthusiastically during the announcement on Instagram.

For those with VIP tickets, there will be a private meet-and-greet with the cast before the main event. The VIP tickets also come with preferred seating and a gift bag. They are selling for $300 and $150 for the main event.

Held at Venu Event Space in Vaughan, Ontario, this will be the largest Y&R fan event in the Toronto area scheduled so far for 2025. The VIP reception begins at 11:15 am, and the main event runs from noon to 3 pm. Tickets include complimentary drinks, reception, brunch, entertainment, and free parking.

“I’m thrilled we’re going to be able to be there. We’re going to have a good time, but we’re also going to be able to help,” Linder shared.

Proceeds from the event will fund ABC’s Care KIT! Thrive Program, and vital workshops designed to help cancer survivors navigate their post-treatment lives with dignity and hope.

Per their website, after BREAST CANCER (ABC) was founded in 2013 by Alicia Vianga. It is a unique program for cancer survivors in the Toronto area who are either without insurance or financially challenged with access to their basic needs. They can assist clients with providing mastectomy bras, mastectomy camisoles, and breast prostheses, among other programs to help women after they've gotten through cancer treatment.

Earlier this year, Linder, LeBlanc, and James also hosted “Kate Linder & Friends” tea in Toronto, and raised $50,000 for Canada Cares.

Last weekend, Linder partnered with ALS Network to honor her late mother, California artist Mary Wolveck. She hosted “An Afternoon of Art,” which featured her mother’s works, and celebrated what would have been Wolveck’s 100th birthday on November 20th.
