The account Y&R Recaps captioned a screenshot of the episode, “I'm loving how funny Victor is, talking about Billy with Nikki. "Oh, did he threaten me? I'm scared!" I noticed that you have an injury on your right temple... Did Billy whack you? Just hoping everything is good with you, fine sir.”
The post tagged the X account of Eric Braeden, who delighted fans by responding:
“No, I had done some head butt exercises on the heavy bag! 🤣🤣🤣 — Eric Braeden on X (@EBraeden)
Braeden is known to love boxing, both on the show and off. He recently posted a video of himself on Instagram, working out at the punching bag in a gym. “Keeps me young and restless,” he captioned.
Braeden received comments of support from his costars Lauralee Bell, who plays Christine Williams, and Don Diamont, the former actor of Y&R’s Brad Carlton, and currently plays Bill Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful. Friend and castmate Doug Davidson (Paul Williams) also chimed in to say, “You go, Eric!!”
Whether or not Braeden’s response was his last on X is unknown, but he has since deleted his account, proudly showing that he had left the social media platform later on Instagram.
Like Billy Abbott, Y&R’s Jason Thompson gets an unwanted lesson
The day before his birthday, Jason Thompson gave himself a surprise gift in the form of a lesson.
The actor shared a video on his Instagram and spoke to fans to explain. “Perfect reminder I’m getting a little long in the tooth,” Thompson said.
He shared that he intended to play some adult-league soccer, but about fifteen minutes into the warm-up, he was taking shots on the goalie and felt something go “Pop!” in his thigh. “Felt it. Heard it,” Thompson recalled.
As he moved the camera down and showed the full perspective in a mirror, Thompson displayed his thigh, which was different shades of purple and looking incredibly painful. “Look at this. I mean…purple all the way. Gnarliness,” Thompson said incredulously.
Thompson explained that he had torn his adductor. “What are you going to do except take it as a less to be better,” he concluded. He also did a shout out to his physician, Dr. Locroa, and said he was coming to see him.
Co-star Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Y&R’s Chelsea Lawson, commented, “And you let me complain about my SHOULDER today?!!?!” Michael Graziadei (Daniel Romalotti) reacted, “WTF!!! They gonna have to amputate.”
