The Young and the Restless may have been celebrating Thanksgiving this week, but Crimson Lights is decorated and ready for the Christmas season.
We don’t see any Black Friday shopping deals in the coffee house merch, but Y&R has treated viewers to a behind-the-scenes look at the set, and it’s all dolled up for the festive season.

Sharon (Sharon Case) may be trying to banish the ghosts in her life, but her coffee shop has found the holiday spirit. Crimson Lights is looking extra festive despite the mood at home.
While Sharon awaits a trial, she’s trying to keep busy at work. It isn’t easy when customers and the general public are giving her the side-eye all day. Her barista, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder), was kind enough to gently tell Sharon she was only semi-worried about working with a murderer but had enough grace to assume it was possible that Sharon wasn’t guilty. Of course, a confession doesn’t help with that theory.
But Sharon is going to be at the coffee shop a lot in the coming weeks. From meetings with her lawyer, Michael (Christian LeBlanc), to run-ins with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), there could be some festive mugs broken and candy canes tossed while Genoa City residents figure out how they really feel about Sharon’s confession.
Meanwhile, the Romalottis are going to have their first Christmas without Heather (Vail Bloom). It’ll be a mix of emotions for all as they deal with everything that has gone down, except for Nick (Joshua Morrow), who seems to be in denial.
Even though Sharon has given a confession to the police, Nick doesn’t believe that Sharon actually killed Heather. He’s so convinced that he goes to Chance (Conner Floyd) and asks him to help prove Sharon’s innocence. Maybe she’ll have better luck in that situation than Daniel (Michael Graziadei).
While Summer’s (Allison Lanier) hopes were high that her boyfriend and lead investigator would exonerate her brother, Chance’s investigation only led to Daniel, and he arrested him. Will Chance even agree to help Nick for Sharon’s sake? And is there anything that will convince him that she might not be as guilty as she believes?
As for Sharon, her life is on the line. Pleading guilty is a life sentence, and pleading insanity is a long shot. Will she be spending Christmas behind bars, or will Michael — or Chance — find another culprit for the crime?
Sharon should keep an eye out for who she is serving coffee. People aren’t always who they seem around Genoa City.
