Fans of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful can add a new show to their CBS Daytime line-up in 2025. However, a month before the premiere of CBS’s new daytime serial, Beyond the Gates, there will be a change in the daytime schedule.
CBS Daytime Schedule
The Talk's finale will air on December 20, 2024. Beginning Monday, December 23, 2024, encore episodes of The Price Is Right will air in the time slot until the new daytime soap, Beyond the Gates, premieres on February 24, 2025.

The encore episodes are the only changes to the daytime schedule that were announced.

AM Markets: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. PT
PM Markets: 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. PT
The Price Is Right:
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. PT
The Young and the Restless:
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT
The Bold and the Beautiful:
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT
The Price Is Right — Encore Presentations:
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT
CBS daytime ratings
CBS has been a leader in daytime television ratings for decades. According to VideoAmp data provided by the network in a press release, CBS has opened the 2024 - 2025 broadcast season with audience growth across its daytime dramas and game shows in L+7 viewing.
CBS will further expand its daytime audience with Beyond the Gates, its new daytime drama series and debut project from the CBS Studios/NAACP Venture. The serial, which premieres Monday, February 24, 2025, will air weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount Plus.
Beyond the Gates will be the first-ever one-hour Black daytime soap and the first daytime drama to premiere since “Passions” in 1999.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has also retained its #1 status with a 16% increase in total viewers compared to last year.
CBS is the #1 daytime network, with its three top shows delivered to 3.83 million total viewers: The Price Is Right in the first spot, The Young and the Restless in second, and The Bold and the Beautiful in the top third. The Young and the Restless ranks as the #1 daytime drama, and The Bold and the Beautiful is #2 in network rankings.
CBS Daytime Broadcast Audience Growth
The Young and the Restless is up 5% compared to last year's data, delivering 5.09 million viewers. The Bold and the Beautiful is up 5%, with 4.13 million viewers.
For daytime game shows, The Price Is Right and Let’s Make A Deal grew 4%, delivering 5.38 million and 3.34 million total viewers, respectively.
Additionally, CBS’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert is up 16%, delivering 3.61 million total viewers.
