CBS Weekend Update: How the stars of The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Beyond the Gates spent their time off

Fans of The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and the soon-to-be-premiering CBS sudser Beyond the Gates know that our favorite soap stars work hard. But they also know how to play hard and, when needed, can be like Bill Spencer (Don Diamont, B&B) and appreciate some much-deserved “me time.” Luckily for us, they shared what they were up to!

The Young and the Restless

Melissa Ordway, Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless, and her husband, Justin Gaston (ex-Chance Chancellor, Y&R), made another (daily) trip to Home Depot and gave us some laughs along the way.

Mark Grossman (Adam Newman, Y&R) had help running his lines. His dog laid next to his papers. “He’s ready for his close up and a treat,” Grossman captioned the photo.

Redding Munsell (Harrison Abbott, Y&R) shared a photo of him looking chill on a couch while wearing a suit and glasses.

Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, Y&R) posted a photo of her talking to her goddaughter. She captioned the adorableness, “Assisted in this little one’s birth a couple weeks ago and my heart will never be the same. I’m so in awe of my best friend @stacybrowningmakeup for naturally bringing her into this world. Thank you for make me a Godmother x2.”

Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams, Y&R) got together with Patti Denney, who was a makeup artist on The Young and the Restless for 42 years, and Annette Jones, who was a Y&R hair stylist for 20 years. “Reunited and it feels so good,” Lauralee captioned. She added that they “literally helped raise” her on the show. In a subsequent photo, Lauralee shared a picture of the three of them back when they were on the show. “Since these days!” she captioned.

Tracey Bregman (Lauren Fenmore, Y&R) and Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra, Y&R) went to see Dale Smith Thomas, a keynote speaker, author, and performance coach. Smith Thomas is a friend of Tracey’s, and Courtney also posted about the event.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Annika Noelle (Hope Logan, The Bold and the Beautiful) helped to celebrate the birthday of her friend and fellow actor, Tabyana Ali, who plays Trina on General Hospital.

Elsa Esnoult (Fanny Greyson, B&B) was at a beautiful ski resort nestled in the mountains in Courchevel, France.

Crew Morrow (Will Spencer, B&B), shared a witty video of him with an older-styled bike. “She’s rusty and the brakes don’t work very well.. But damnit does that baby blue give me some attitude,” he captioned. Crew got on the bike and started to ride but dramatically paused to turn around and look at the camera with his shades on before pedaling off.

Romy Park (Poppy Nozawa, B&B) was in the ballet studio, but it wasn’t all just stretches — she took time out to enjoy a donut, too.

Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester, B&B) shared a picture that exuded love and laughter. “Nothing better. A night out with my little man,” she captioned from a Supercross show.

Beyond the Gates

Jen Jacob (Ashley Morgan, Beyond the Gates) showed us a preview of her character’s new look. “Ashley got sunkissed today,” she captioned to pictures of her blonde highlights, adding, “Which is funny because it’s absolutely freezing.” In another photo, she shared her dog, cuddled up on the couch.
