CBS Soap Crossover: The Young and the Restless' Lauralee Bell gets fashion forward on The Bold and the Beautiful

Christine Blair will be back on the soap scene in the coming months, but her first stop won't be The Young and the Restless' Genoa City. Instead, Lauralee Bell is bringing Christine to The Bold and the Beautiful.

The end of the road for the tour?

While Bell has been off the Y&R canvas, Christine has been reliving her youth as a rock groupie with ex-husband Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Chris joined Danny on tour when they finally reunited romantically after decades apart. While she briefly returned to Genoa City in January, she also made a stop in Los Angeles with Danny for a dance party on Eric Forrester's (John McCook) living room.

Bell will be making a return B&B appearance this spring when Christine stops in to see her LA friends again — this time for a fashion show, according to Deadline. Bell is slated to appear on episodes airing April 24 through April 28.

"You never know when Brad Bell calls, if I’m going to be asked a [sibling] question or if I can come to B&B for a couple of days," Bell told Deadline, referring to her brother who is the soaps head writer and executive producer. "He established this collaboration. Years ago I represented Ridge [Ronn Moss] on a court case, and then several months ago, Danny and Christine stopped in during the summer because we’re on tour and he’s the rock star. And then they used Danny’s music for a Brooke’s bedroom lingerie line. So the tie-in continues."

The Young and the Restless' Danny and Chris remembered

Bell is still in awe of fan reaction to Danny and Christine's reunion that was decades in the making and has led to a resurgence for her character on two CBS soaps.

"We’ve been super lucky because so many of our Y&R fans who have rooting for Danny and Christine to be back together after 30 years came to watch B&B for those couple of days," Bell said of her last B&B appearance. "We assume everyone who watches Y&R watches B&B, but for the few that didn’t, we got Y&R people to come to watch B&B. Our audience really showed up."

And Christine will also show up — in Genoa City that is. The character is slated to be back on your Y&R screens by June.
