Fans react to Daniel and Tessa's relationship on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, an unlikely friendship between Daniel and Tessa has grown and with the pair about to spend a lot more time together, will sparks fly?

The Young and the Restless: Will Daniel find love and a new purpose?

The Young and the Restless often throws us as fans a curveball, as we have seen with kidnappings and resurrections of past evil, but what do we think of Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) spending more time together? Will we see Daniel find happiness and comfort in the arms of Tessa? The two already bonded on Halloween, when Tessa had an amazing ability to calm and focus (a very drunk) Daniel and get him to open up and talk about his grief. Speed up to the present day and Daniel is still just as lost, not knowing what he really wants to do: work with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) or … learn guitar.

The moment he decided that music was the direction he wanted to head in, he asked Tessa for help. After losing a job, his love and his way, this is just what Daniel needs, being able to redirect his grief through music. But what do the fans think of this? There were mixed opinions on Reddit.

“So apparently, people think men and women can't just be friends? Why does every close bond have to be "more than friends"? She's literally married and has a young child. When Mariah cheated on her, she was devastated and made it clear she'd never do that to someone, that's why it hurt her so deeply. I honestly don’t see her doing the same thing.
