At the Athletic Club, Victor and Nikki discussed Faith and Lucy’s accident and their concerns for Sharon. Nikki said changing the name of Cameron’s company as a charity on behalf of Cassie might have triggered Sharon to grieve for Cassie all over again. Nikki wondered how ironic it was if a noble gesture caused Sharon more pain. Nikki and Victor discussed Billy and Lily and wondered what was happening at Chancellor Industries. Victor told Nikki that the more information they had, the easier it would be to get rid of Billy.
At the hospital, Nick and Sharon sat at Faith’s bedside and talked about the accident. Sharon interrupted Faith a few times to comment about Lucy in disdain. Daniel checked in on Faith and said that the doctor was running more tests on Lucy but thought that they were just being overly cautious.
Sharon glared at Daniel as Cameron stood behind her and reminded Sharon that losing Cassie was Daniel’s fault. Cameron kept telling Sharon that she was full of rage and that Daniel needed to leave before she let it out. Sharon snapped at Faith to stop feeling guilty for the crash. Sharon said that Lucy was not Faith’s friend—nor her problem.
Cameron continued to badger Sharon to blame and channel rage at Daniel. Nick and Sharon let Faith rest and stepped out to the hallway. When Nick reached out supportively to Sharon, Cameron sneered at her, "Hey, focus! Every second, you're getting closer to the answers you're looking for." Sharon angrily yelled at Cameron to stop. Nick looked confused.

Sharon tried to cover for her outburst and said she felt guilty for encouraging Faith to help Lucy. If she hadn’t, Faith would not have been driving Lucy home, Sharon added. Nick told Sharon she did not need to feel guilty for encouraging Faith to be a good person, and Sharon thanked him for saying so. “Oh, my God, you’re thanking him for lying to you?” Cameron said.
Sharon struggled to juggle her conversations with Nick and Cameron and said she needed rest. Nick told Sharon to go home and that Faith would be leaving the hospital with them soon. “Are you sure?” Sharon asked. Nick assured her that Faith was going to be fine, and he said that the best thing Sharon could do for Faith was to not go to a dark place. Sharon looked shakily at Cameron.
Nick told Sharon he was more worried about her than about Faith, but Sharon assured Nick that she was fine. He left to do some work, and Sharon watched over Faith as she slept. Cameron told Sharon that she'd almost lost Faith the same way she'd lost Cassie, and Lucy had done that. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” Cameron said. Sharon looked at Faith in the hospital bed, but she saw Cassie instead, bandaged and asleep. Cameron told Sharon that she knew who to blame for everything that she'd lost.
Lily met with Devon and told him how and why Billy had fired her. Devon said that he'd suspected it would happen and wished he'd done more to prevent it. Devon agreed that Billy would run Chancellor Industries into the ground without Lily. Devon suggested that Lily could work with him instead. “I would love to, but you’re not any better at sharing power than Billy is,” Lily said. Devon warned Lily that she had a soft spot for Billy. “You can’t reform him and destroy him at the same time. Pick one,” Devon said.
At Crimson Lights, Jack spotted Billy looking rough. Billy admitted he had something bothering him, but Chelsea and Connor walked in and interrupted their conversation. After chatting, Billy and Connor agreed to make plans with Johnny, which made Chelsea look hopeful about the future. Chelsea asked Billy how he was doing, and he said he'd stayed up all night, thinking about what happened next. Billy told Chelsea he knew he loved her, but he didn’t know what that meant anymore. Chelsea said she held onto hope that they could find their way through it.
Once Jack and Billy were alone, Jack told Billy to talk to him. They went to the park, and Billy told Jack about Chelsea’s infidelity. Billy said he believed that Chelsea loved him and that she deeply regretted it. Jack knew how much it had to have hurt Billy that it was Adam that Chelsea had slept with. Jack advised Billy to make his decisions based on the love he and Chelsea shared and not on his hatred for Adam.
Victor spotted Lily when she walked into the Athletic Club, and he invited her to take his seat while he made a phone call. Nikki told Lily she was grateful for their talk about Katherine. Nikki said she had gone through letters and cards that Katherine had sent her over the years. Nikki invited Lily to come over for tea to go through them and read some words of wisdom from Katherine, and Lily accepted.
