Alan is his very own Spoiler on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Alan arrived back in Genoa at the same time as Ashley, but how did they not bump into each other at the airport or on the plane itself?

Will Alan slip up and reveal that it’s actually Martin?

There are so many questions and so little time. On The Young and the Restless, we are getting more and more clues that point to the suspicion that Alan (Christopher Cousins) is Martin. Starting with the behaviors, Alan just isn't acting like Alan, from being wowed by the Abbott mansion, a place he has seen multiple times, to being shifty regarding the messages and alerts on his cell phone, to the snarky way he said to Traci (Beth Maitland) today,” What did you find out about me? IS that why you don't want to get married?” Who is this guy? None of these acts sound like Alan. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s Martin. What happened to the duck?

Anyway, with the sale of the gas valve being traced back to an unauthorised purchase by a Parisian psychiatric facility, the very same one that Alan worked out of and Martin was a patient at (Quack). The same credit card was used to lease a farm property outside Genoa City. Things are looking more sketchy for Traci that her beau is none other than…Martin Laurent. That must be where Alan/Martin was operating from, the distorted voice, and the control room for the things happening at the abandoned asylum where he held Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) prisoners.

Theory: Alan/Martin never went to Paris; he stayed there the whole time. How could Ashley (Eileen Davidson) arrive back simultaneously and not have bumped into him? Two airports, the flight itself. Too many coincidences here on The Young and the Restless. Traci is having a bad run here, but don't worry. Jack is in her corner and feels something is up, and the best bit is that Chance is on the case. It’s almost like it’s solved already, and all is well, right? The fans and viewers went to the Soap Central Message Boards to discuss what happened today (Tuesday, 8th April, 2025) and their theories.

“I am convinced after watching today’s show that is not Alan - it is Martin. The reason I’m convinced is because Alan would have been understanding about Tracey’s feelings wanting to take things slow. He would have respected her in wanting to enjoy the moment, but still make plans for a future wedding. Instead, “Martin” was getting suspicious and irritated with her - starting to make accusations on what she was saying and not being respectful. “I think you are right! Alan most definitely would not have pushed Traci for an explanation about why she is wanting to take things a little slower...if this is indeed Martin, he was upset and annoyed that Traci doesn't want to get married right now and he refuses to believe her reasons. He really believes someone told her something about him that made her change her mind, I don't believe Alan would have said anything like that. Alan/Martin's attitude scared Traci enough that she made that distress phone call to Jack! What I didn't understand was why didn't Jack run upstairs immediately when he heard Alan's voice and what he is saying to Traci....Alan/Martin could have kidnapped Traci or anything while Jack was just standing there listening...I too can't wait for tomorrow's episode, it should be really good! Well some of us having been saying all along that this is Martin so it is no surprise to me what sealed the deal for me was when he walked in to the Abbott mansion and acted like he had never seen it before - henyvo02

Well, soap fans agree that Alan is Martin; the quacks practically prove it. The only question left for me is, is Alan still alive? Stay tuned as we race towards the conclusion of this storyline. Watch out for ducks.
