On The Young and the Restless, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have been rivals for decades. But when Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) teamed up to take down the Newmans last fall, the rivalry between the two women intensified. Just as their hatred for one another hit an all-time high, they were drugged, kidnapped, and awoke to find themselves stuck in a room together, unable to escape unless they find a way to work together.
Some viewers are eager to see how they will figure this out and if it will change their relationship for the better (or worse), but other fans are already disappointed.
“About damn time we have some action. Let the game begin with Sharon & Phyllis. I hope the writer pushes the limit here,” wrote the user Danetha VanillaStrawberry Williams in her post
Some fans find Sharon's storyline overwhelming while others compare it with other developments, calling them "boring."

There are also fans who expressed their excitement about the upcoming adventure and action that Sharon and Phyllis' kidnapping would bring to The Young and the Restless.

What happened with Sharon and Phyllis on The Young and the Restless
In a harrowing twist of fate on The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Phyllis found themselves kidnapped and locked in an abandoned room. Sharon woke up to a loud buzzer, feeling scared and confused. She begged their captor for answers, desperate to get back to her children and granddaughter.
While looking for a way out, she found Phyllis unconscious on the floor. When Phyllis woke up, she immediately grew suspicious of Sharon.
The two women, who had a long history of fighting, quickly started arguing. Phyllis accused Sharon of planning the kidnapping, while Sharon wondered if Phyllis was behind it. Eventually, they realized someone else had put them there.
Even though they didn’t trust each other, they knew they had to work together to escape. Phyllis tried to pick the lock while Sharon searched the room for clues. She eventually found some books that revealed they were trapped in the abandoned building, which was once Havenhurst Psychiatric Hospital.
As Sharon and Phyllis tried to piece together their memories, they realized someone had drugged them before they woke up locked in the room. They guessed who might be behind it and, believing that Ian Ward was dead, wondered if one his former cult followers wanted revenge. However, a voice that comes on an old wall speaker has informed them that they are at his (or her) mercy. They don't know what it is; they only know they are playing someone's game and have to follow their "rules" to win. The prize? Living to tell the tale of the nightmare they are in.
The tension between them is growing as they are forced to bring up painful memories, like Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death and Sharon’s breakdown. Phyllis blamed Sharon for her family’s pain, while Sharon insisted she had been a victim, too.

Even with all the bitterness, a small sense of unity has begun to appear. When they found canned food and bottled water, Sharon warned Phyllis that drinking anything could be risky, a painful reminder of when she had been poisoned.
Phyllis, understanding how serious their situation was, said they had to work together to survive. Just as they agreed, the buzzer blared again, followed by music. Sharon listened carefully, thinking the song being played might be a clue. Meanwhile, Phyllis screamed at their unseen captor, her anger covering her fear.
Despite their troubled history, Sharon and Phyllis knew their only chance was to put aside their hatred and face their captor together. But the questions remain the same: Who has trapped them, and what kind of twisted game is this?
