On The Young and the Restless, Traci's life became a bundle of confusion as Alan's strange behavior was like nothing she'd ever seen from him before. In fact, half the town was confused all thanks to the machinations of Traci's new fiance.

Dial A: For Abbott

Abby picked up Alan's phone after she heard notification after notification coming through and saw some odd messages. When Alan caught her looking at it, Traci said it was none of her business what was on his phone but Traci only wanted to help. Poor Traci. Her man is lying to her about lots of things. We want to jump through the screen and stand in between her and Alan. That’s how much we love her!

When Alan explained away why his phone was going haywire (don’t bad guys always have an answer for what they do?), Traci seemed to buy it. For now…she suggested that Alan get a new phone... Traci’s gentle inquiries have us worried for her.

Not deterred, Traci put the phone business behind her and went into romantic mode as she dreamed up ideas for her wedding to Alan. The novelist wants to go back to Paris where it all began. Alan, don’t you dare break our girl’s heart!

Traci…You in Danger Girl!

Jack was concerned when Traci asked for the company jet so she and Alan could fly to Paris to start scouting wedding locales. Kyle dropped by and was curious after seeing a connection between Alan’s surprise texts and Sharon and Phyllis’s kidnapping. Hmmm... Traci got a call from Alan telling her that he needed to go to Paris without her. Okay, this makes Jack even more concerned. Can you blame him? We see Traci trying to explain it away, but…she’s developing some doubts. Is the man of her dreams too good to be true? Isn't that always the way?

Wicked: For Good

Nick and Sharon’s Valentine’s Day lovefest might have been a fantasy but the show continued to give us what we want – more scenes of these two star-crossed lovers together. Sharon shared her ordeal with Nick and told him the most ironic part was Phyllis and her facing down some issues.

Sharon recounted how Phyllis was being poisoned and Sharon saved her by solving the riddle. Then, Phyllis found Sharon barely alive the next day. She’s not sure why her heart stopped, but Sharon knows she’s alive thanks to Phyllis. Should we be carting Alan off to jail or throwing him a parade for making these two interact with each other that forever changed them – for good?

Sharon has a background as a therapist so she digs deep into what went on between her and Phyllis. Chance appeared at Crimson Lights to give Nick and Sharon an update on his investigation into her and Phyllis’s kidnapping. At the risk of repeating ourselves, it’s good to see Genoa City have a regular lawman again.

Nick and Sharon continued to talk about their relationship in between discussing whether or not Nick will go to London with Sharon to visit their son Noah. Nick's booking passage kind of became a moot point when Summer showed up and told him that Nick needed to look in on Phyllis. Even Sharon was concerned about Phyllis’s well-being. Now, THAT is what you call progress. Let’s hope Sharon and Phyllis both remained changed for good by their ordeal.

Mother and Children Reunion

Phyllis reunited with her kids Summer and Daniel. They wanted the scoop on what happened to their mom.

It’s good to see Chance back as a cop. We know he’s a cop again because he’s investigating the room where Phyllis and Sharon were held. And he’s wearing a shiny Genoa City Police Department badge around his neck.

Phyllis recounted to her kids giving Sharon CPR to get her kicker ticking. Sometimes on soaps, recapping what happened can be a snooze but we can’t get enough of Phyllis (and Sharon, for that matter) recapping what happened during their ordeal. The more people who know about Sharon and Phyllis bonding, the more people there are to remind them if... oh, let’s face it, when, these two start going at it again...

Could Ian Ward have pulled James Stenbeck (As the World Turns’ villain who cheated death many times) and be responsible for Phyllis’s ordeal? Phyllis doesn’t think so. Hey, we’d be happy to see the talented Ray Wise (ex-Ian) back on screen, but we know who is behind the kidnapping.

The Right Stuff

Sally gave Billy a shoulder massage, telling him she was so impressed that he risked much to save his friends. Billy was happy to trade in his cape for a corporate jacket. Not wearing a cape doesn’t make you any less of a hero, Sally told Billy before they kissed. How lucky is Billy to have a terrific supportive girlfriend? How often does that happen?

When Phyllis dropped in on Billy and Sally, she assured them she was fine. But Billy was surprised she was out and about. Really? Phyllis is unstoppable! Still, we could tell by her crossed arms, that she’s not fully herself again. How could she be?

“I’m fine,” Phyllis lied before adding, “I am not fine. I want my life back. You’re the only one who can help me.” We don’t think Sally needs to worry about Phyllis worming her way back into Billy’s life as a romantic threat – yet.

Billy told his business partner not to worry about work because, you know, she was kidnapped. He ordered Phyllis to take some time. Phyllis revealed what helped her when she was stuck there. Sure, her kids, but knowing she had Abbott Communications to come back to was what she hung on to. Not since Phyllis lived her dream of running a hotel, The Grand Phoenix have we seen her this passionate. She needs work now! Today! Billy was not unsympathetic to her needs.

Billy disappointed Phyllis by telling her he put out a release about Abbott Communications but he didn’t put her name on it. He tells her though that he can’t do this without her. He asks for forgiveness. Phyllis forgives without question. He did save her life, after all.

Summer Wind

Summer breezed back into Kyle’s orbit at Crimson Lights to update him on Phyllis and Sharon’s kidnapping and rescue. Claire entered and made plans with Kyle for later. “Scene-stealer” may be going a bit far, but we can’t help but notice Summer acted as if Claire and Kyle being together didn't bother her at all. But it does! She casually snagged a date with her ex-husband. We get the feeling she wants him back. Watch out, Claire!

Kyle and Summer bumped into Victor at the GCAC. Is it us or does every chair that Victor sits on seem like a throne? He and Kyle exchanged words because, well, it’s rare not to put any Abbott and Victor Newman in the same room and there not be any conflict because Victor loves his conflict!

Lily updated Devon and Nate about her business deals in the record world. Can we just say how nice it is to see and hear all these business executives discussing, you know, business? Damian arrived to get an update on Amy. He and Nate decided to go to Chicago together to see her after what we hope will be a successful and life-saving transfusion.

Later, Lily and Devon spied Holden and Audra having an innocent drink at Society. Lily thinks there’s more to all this than meets the eye. As Lily is one of the more savvy, grounded people in Genoa City, we’re going to guess that she’s 100% right. But what is going on? Stay tuned!

Adam told his work colleague that he didn't need a lecture on “journalistic standards.” Yeah, he said they usually like to have a couple of sources before running a story but the info he has is rock solid. He suggests his colleague run the info on Billy and his media company as an op-ed (which stands for something written “opposite the editorial page.”) Hey, if Billy knows terms like “op-ed” then he doesn’t need a lecture on journalistic standards! Besides, it can always be taken or edited later – not like those pesky print newspaper days when once it was in print, there was no going back short of doing a correction in a subsequent issue.

Proving that Billy and Sally and Nick and Sharon have no corner when it comes to romance, Chelsea made an appearance for some wine, intimate talk, dinner, cake, and lovemaking with Adam. Looks like Chadam is on again so welcome to the ride...

Till next week, Scoopers. Here’s hoping that Traci gets to keep all of her and Alan’s wedding gifts – no matter what happens.

Catch all-new episodes of The Young and the Restless weekdays on CBS and Paramount Plus.
