3 Big The Young and the Restless Takeaways, February 12, 2025

On the Wednesday, February 12, 2025 episode of The Young and the Restless, Summer rattled Claire, Sharon couldn’t read a room, and Billy took a trip.

The Young and the Restless highlights

Summer (Allison Lanier) had a good dose of starting her day surrounded by those who bothered her the most. She went to Crimson Lights for coffee and a muffin, only to have Sharon (Sharon Case) serve her. Sharon gave her the same spiel she’s been trying on all of the Romalottis and got the same reaction. Nick (Joshua Morrow) walked in during the conversation and asked Summer to dig deep to find her compassion and understand that Sharon was not responsible for anything she did.

Summer then ran into Claire (Hayley Erin) and vented some of her frustrations by ensuring that Claire knew she never had a problem getting Victor’s (Eric Braeden) support when Summer and Kyle were together. She threw in a few reminders about her evening with Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Harrison (Redding Munsell), then encouraged Claire to never give up on trying to change Victor’s mind — after noting that Kyle seemed like he already had.

Love, Paris Style

Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) arrived in Paris. Turns out they’re staying in one of the guest rooms at Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) apartment. They made plans to go sightseeing, walk along the Seine, eat some puffy stuff, and go to a jazz club for a nightcap but only made it three blocks when it started pouring rain. They came back soaken wet, and underdressed for bed instead. Sally noted she’d never made love in Paris before, and Billy said it felt like the first time for him. Seems Billy is falling in love.

Daniel’s decision

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) met with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) at Society with big news: He decided to join her and Billy at Abbott Communications. Phyllis wanted to interrupt Billy’s trip to tell him the good news, but Daniel tried to stop her. Didn’t matter as Billy ignored her calls anyway. Daniel questioned if Phyllis had more feelings for Billy than she was letting on, as neither of them should be working with Billy if that was the case. Phyllis denied any interest in Billy aside from friendship and professionalism but did share that she detested Sally, and it was mutual.
