The Young and the Restless' Lauralee Bell celebrates Danny and Christine's long-awaited reunion

Danny and Christine have finally reunited on The Young and the Restless, but their story isn't over

The Young and the Restless' Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair first fell in love in the 1980s and married in 1990, but their marriage only lasted a few short years, thanks to the machinations of Phyllis Summers. Flash-forward to 2024, and the pair is finally together again -- this time, in spite of Phyllis' machinations.

When Danny first invited Christine to accompany him on his latest concert tour, she had to back out due to a client's needs. Thankfully, Christine reevaluated her decision after the client didn't need as much of her, after all. She took off with Danny to enter their second chapter and relive their youth, this time with a lifetime of wisdom to work with.

Longtime Danny and Christine fans were thrilled in 2022 when Michael Damian brought Danny home for the holidays for the first time in years, but it was a brief stay that didn't delve into their history and romance at all.

When Damian returned again last fall, Christine had finally decided to end things with Paul Williams, with whom she shared a long relationship and marriage. Danny and Christine renewed their friendship, and it soon led to something more. Phyllis and Christine once more battled for his affections, with Christine ultimately "winning."

Danny and Christine's second chance at love gave birth to an Instagram account called danny_cricket_fan that just celebrated its first anniversary. On May 22, the account posted a fan-made video of Danny and Christine's greatest moments spanning the decades. The video is set to the Cher-Peter Cetera 1989 hit "After All."

Lauralee Bell was so touched by the video, she wanted all her fans to see it, saying, "Michael and I are so grateful to our incredible fans, like @danny_cricket_fan, who makes these videos for us as a reminder of all this couple has gone through -- and how much more there is still left to tell!"
