Y&R's Camryn Grimes, Brock Powell are "in a club now" -- they're engaged

The Young and the Restless star Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) got a pretty awesome birthday present this year: an engagement ring.

The Young and the Restless' Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) had an extra special birthday this year. On January 7, the Emmy-winning actress got engaged to boyfriend Brock Powell.

Grimes shared the news on her social media channels with a photo of her engagement ring accompanied by a quote from the movie Up. "You and me, we're in a club now," the actress wrote.

On his Twitter page, Powell, a voice actor, writer, and self-described "tallest hobbit," wrote, "After nearly 2 years of staying inside, we KNOW adventure is out there. Can't wait to travel the globe with you Red, but you're already my entire world."

Grimes joined the Y&R cast as Cassie Newman in March 1997. In 2000, at age tens, she became the youngest person to ever win the Outstanding Younger Actress trophy at the Daytime Emmys. She exited in 2005 when Cassie died from injuries she sustained in a car accident. She returned to Y&R in January 2014 as Cassie's twin, Mariah Copeland. She earned an Outstanding Supporting Actress Emmy in 2018.

In March 2021, Grimes shared that she and Powell had marked their one-year anniversary as a couple.
