The Young and the Restless alum Mckenna Grace (ex-Faith Newman) just dropped her very first song, a pop ballad called "Haunted House" that comes with an equally haunting music video.
It's looking more and more like there's nothing Mckenna Grace (ex-Faith Newman, The Young and the Restless) can't do. Hot on the heels of grabbing global attention for her performance in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and announcing that she'll be starring in and executive producing a Lifetime film that she wrote during lockdown, the young actress has released her first song.
The poppy ballad is titled "Haunted House," and it comes along with a music video that Grace co-directed with Danny Corey and filmed in an allegedly haunted house in Southern California over Halloween weekend.

Grace reveals that she teamed up with Lily Kincade to write the song, which is also featured in the end credits of Afterlife, during a difficult time. "Over the pandemic I went through a rough time in my personal life, and I wanted to write a song about how even after someone's not in your life anymore, their memory never really leaves you," she said in an official statement. "You could take it as a breakup song, but it could also be about a friend or a family member or any kind of relationship that's ended."
Mckenna Grace got her start in the entertainment business with the role of Y&R's Faith, which she played from 2013 to 2015. Some of her other credits include Gifted, Captain Marvel, The Haunting of Hill House, and The Handmaid's Tale, the latter of which earned her a Guest Actor Emmy nomination this year. She can next be seen starring in the Disney+ adventure film Crater and in Olivia Wilde's Perfect.
