Hmmm... Janice Lynde returning as Y&R's Leslie Brooks

Original cast member Janice Lynde will be returning to The Young and the Restless next month. The actress was last spotted in Genoa City in 2018.

The Young and the Restless original cast member Janice Lynde will be returning to the show for multiple episodes this fall.

Lynde created the role of world-renowned pianist Leslie Brooks in the very first episode of Y&R. She remained with the show through 1977. The actress last appeared in 2018 as part of the show's 45th anniversary celebration.

In addition to her work on Y&R, Lynde joined Another World as Tracy DeWitt, a role she played from 1979 to 1981. In 1984, she starred as Laurel Chapin Wolek on One Life to Live, which she left in 1986.

In case you were wondering, Lynde is a pianist and vocal soloist. She began her career with the Dallas Symphony.

Exact airdates for Lynde are not yet available, but Lynde will begin airing in mid-October. Y&R is also being tight-lipped about what brings Leslie back into the fold, but that more than likely won't keep Y&R fans from coming up with their own ideas on social media.
