SURPRISE: The Young and the Restless' Vail Bloom welcomes baby boy

After keeping her pregnancy under wraps, The Young and the Restless alum Vail Bloom (ex-Heather Stevens) reveals she recently gave birth to her second child: a son named Jack René Rose.

Fans of soap opera alum Vail Bloom (ex-Heather Stevens, The Young and the Restless) were completely surprised by some exciting news the actress shared on her Instagram page: she recently gave birth to a baby boy and is now a mom of two!

Bloom posted a family photo that includes her 21-month-old daughter, Charlie Olivia Grace, and her new son, Jack Ren Rose, who was born on January 25.

"Didn't realize it but guess I was waiting for #nationalsiblingsday to announce that: Charlie has a new baby brother and she's THRILLED!" Vail captioned the pic, adding in the comment section, "I'm in LOVE already and I really didn't think it was possible to like anything except girls after Charlie! I love having a boy!"

When one fan commented that she hadn't even known Bloom was pregnant, the star acknowledged her secrecy, explaining that the coronavirus pandemic influenced her decision to wait to go public with her pregnancy and birth news. "I was planning to tell you and wanted to do more photos but alas time slipped by and then the quarantine!!!!" Bloom writes.

As for how it feels to have two little ones, the actress says the workload is exhausting -- but still rewarding. "Have you had 2 under 2 before?!" she jokes. "It's a timeless jumbled beautiful mess. I'm just happy I got the free hand to make the post!"

Bloom played the role of Y&R's Heather from 2007 to 2010. She's also known for her appearances on Vanderpump Rules and her role as Madison Hartman on Aspen the Series.
