Christian Keyes cast as a man from Amanda's past on Y&R

A man from Amanda's past and Hannah Montana alum Kirby Bliss Blanton are joining The Young and the Restless. The CBS soap is also on the hunt to fill the role of a newborn baby.

The population of Genoa City is on the rise yet again, with a couple of new faces slated to appear on The Young and the Restless in the weeks ahead.

Christian Keyes has been cast as Ripley Turner, a man who shares a past with Amanda Sinclair. He appeared as a series regular on the series Saints and Sinners and had recurring roles on Legends of Tomorrow and Supernatural. Keyes makes his first appearance on Wednesday, February 5.

The second is actress Kirby Bliss Blanton, who has joined the CBS soap opera as Abby's (Melissa Ordway) new Society employee Lindsay. Will she take the place of Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), who stepped away from her position as a server at Abby's restaurant to go on tour with Tanner (Chase Coleman)?

Viewers may recognize Blanton from her roles in series like Zoey 101, Hannah Montana, and Hawaii Five-0. According to Soap Opera Digest, she's slated to make her first Y&R appearance on Wednesday, January 29. (This date is subject to change due to preemptions.)

In other casting news, Y&R is on the hunt for Caucasian twins or triplets approximately four months of age to fill the role of a newborn baby who will be appearing on the canvas in the near future. The role is likely that of Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe's (Elizabeth Hendrickson) new baby, as the couple recently found out they are expecting -- but you just never know what the show's writers will throw viewers' way!

Dates are subject to change due to preemptions.
