Holiday for Heroes, a Hallmark film starring The Young and the Restless' Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), is just two months away.
Fans of The Young and the Restless are thrilled to have Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson; ex-Annie Lavery, All My Children) back in Genoa City, but that's not the only gift the talented actress is bringing fans. She stars in a new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Christmas movie and has just announced when the heartwarming film, called Holiday for Heroes, is slated to air.
"Excited to share Holiday for Heroes will premiere Friday, November 8th!" she shared on Twitter. "Had SUCH a blast shooting this with such wonderful people, can't wait for everyone to see it."

In Holiday for Heroes, Egan plays a woman who becomes pen pals with a soldier (Marc Blucas) and writes back and forth with him for a year until they finally meet in person.
"I'm so excited. This is my first Hallmark project, and I had a blast," Egan revealed on a recent episode of Home & Family, where she reunited with her first TV husband and co-host of the talk show, Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery). "[The film] is a beautiful love story, but my [character's] brother and Marc Lucas, who plays my love interest... are both in the military. They're abroad serving our country, and it just deals with a lot of the issues of how they give up so much to fight for us and serve our country. They miss holidays like Christmas, and it's heartbreaking for them and for their families. So, they really address a lot of that in the movie, which I thought was special, on top of the really beautiful, sweet love story. I'm really excited for everybody to see it. It's really touching."
