The Young and the Restless' Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) promises there's still a lot more unexpected drama to come in the moments leading up to her exit from the soap opera.
Fans of The Young and the Restless are still reeling over the powerhouse scenes in which Eileen Davidson's Ashley Abbott revealed the great lengths she'd gone to in order to take over the family company from her brother Jack (Peter Bergman) -- including rigging DNA tests to cover up Jack's true paternity and tricking the pair's Alzheimer's-affected mother, Dina (Marla Adams), into corroborating her story.
It seems nothing could top the intense scenes in which an angry Jack went on a rage and threw an office chair through a window while his sister defended her horrendous actions. But Davidson says there's even more dramatic material to come before she last airs as Ashley, meaning the sky's the limit in terms of how her popular alter ego will eventually leave the canvas.
"Thanks everyone for ALL of your comments!" the actress tweeted shortly after the roller-coaster reveal scenes aired. "It's fantastic that there is so much grey in this storyline. Ashley and Jack each have their own reality and perspective. Just like real life."

She then teases that Ashley was most certainly right in her actions before writing: "[It's not over yet! Some more twists and turns [are ahead]!!!"
The show's executive producer, Mal Young, also teased about the excitement the show has planned for Ashley's upcoming exit.
"During the last few episodes before Ashley goes, we'll be doing something pretty special across the whole week," he told Soap Opera Digest. "It'll be a real treat to the viewers and an homage to Eileen and her portrayal of that character."
As Soap Central previously reported, Davidson shocked fans earlier this year with her decision not to renew her contract with Y&R. The actress, who has been playing the character of Ashley since 1982, taped her final scenes at the CBS soap opera on September 21.
Though the show's EP stated that Ashley's impending departure is just a "little time-out" and that Davidson would remain a "massive part of the show" in the future, the actress clarified his comments with the confirmation that she is, indeed, leaving permanently.
"I'm not taking a 'break,'" she shared on social media. "I did say I would be open to coming back for a party or something possibly down the line. Just want to clarify!!! Enjoy my last several shows! The story is fantastic!"
Eileen Davidson's last airdate is October 29.
