The Young and the Restless is headed to Hollywood. Sure, the show already films there, but come May Sweeps the show will also be set there.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that The Talk host Julie Chen will appear as herself on Y&R. In story, Hilary travels to La La Land to try to interview Julie for GC Buzz.
"Hilary will stop at nothing to interview her idol, Julie Chen," executive producer Mal Young told EW.

And it seems that Hilary will not be the only character headed to Los Angeles. Who those other characters are, though, is still being kept secret.
The Hollywood-themed storylines begin airing May 15. Chen will make her cameo two days later on May 17.
