Rumor has it The Young and the Restless has recast the role of Victoria's son Reed with teen actor Tristan Lake Leabu.
A new year is right around the corner, and a new Reed may be on the way to The Young and the Restless.
A setside source has revealed to Soap Central that seventeen-year-old actor Tristan Lake Leabu has been cast in the role of Victoria and J.T. Hellstrom's son. This means either the CBS Daytime series has decided to SORAS the character to make him older (Leabu is in his late teens) or the show is planning a dream sequence that takes place in the future.
Child actor Max Page has portrayed the role since 2009, but he hasn't been a large part of the canvas since needing heart surgery in 2012 and again in 2015.

Y&R reps have yet to comment on Leabu's casting and whether or not he'll be permanently replacing Page.
However, the actor -- whose credits include Superman Returns and Hawaii Five-0 -- posted a picture of himself on the CBS set that indicates he has indeed begun working with the network.
