Y&R alum Michael Graziadei heads back to Genoa City

The Young and the Restless' Michael Graziadei (Daniel Ramalotti, Jr.) is making a limited return to daytime.

Big news out of The Young and the Restless today: the CBS soap has managed to snag former star Michael Graziadei (Daniel Ramalotti, Jr.) for a limited return.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the fan favorite actor will be heading back to Genoa City on Thursday, August 25, and will stay for an unspecified amount of time.

As fans may recall, the character was last seen back in 2013 when he arranged to have his comatose adoptive mother, Phyllis, transferred to a facility in Georgia. General Hospital star Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay) played the feisty redhead at the time, meaning this will be Graziadei's first time playing opposite Gina Tognoni in the role.

There's no official word yet on what brings the two-time Daytime Emmy nominee back to the canvas this time around, but Daniel's return coincides with the soap's 11,000th episode on Thursday, September 1.
