Check out controversial Y&R alum in new film

The recent news about The Young and the Restless' Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) is all serious, but her newest project is all laughs.

She may be embroiled in a lawsuit against CBS and The Young and the Restless, but that hasn't stopped Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters, Y&R; ex-Nella Franklin, As the World Turns) from promoting a new project.

The actress, who starred on Y&R from 1990 to 2007, took to Twitter to remind fans that her new film, November Rule, is currently available for viewing on Netflix. The comedy follows up-and-coming shoe entrepreneur Steve (Mo McRae), who is reeling from the death of his dad and decides to make up a "November rule" to keep his distance from women: he breaks up with each and every girlfriend he has on November 1. This year, however, his plan may have backfired, as he realizes he just may have given up his dream girl.

In addition to Rowell, the film also stars Y&R alum Tatyana Ali, who played Devon's (Bryton James) lover, Roxanne, from 2007 to 2013.
