Y&R's Tracey E. Bregman to receive moving honor

The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman will be honored by Ride of Fame in a ceremony in New York City on April 7. The Emmy-winninng Bregman marked her 30th anniversary with Y&R in 2013.

Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) is set to be honored by Ride of Fame. Ride of Fame is a continuing series of mobile monuments recognizing and honoring commendable celebrities from around the world who have influenced New York City in a positive way.

Ride of Fame bestows a bus in its fleet to each honoree. Past honorees include Carly Rae Jepsen, Sir Patrick Stuart, LL Cool J, Cyndi Lauper, Rachael Ray, and Bregman's fellow soap star, Susan Lucci (former-Erica Kane, All My Children).

Bregman has played Lauren Fenmore since 1983. In the late 90s, she left The Young and the Restless in order to play the same character on The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2001, she returned to The Young and the Restless on a recurring basis. In March 2013, after 12 years as a recurring character, it was announced she'd been placed back on contract with the series.

Bregman's Ride of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Monday, April 7, in New York City at Pier 78 (455 12th Avenue at 38th Street) at 12:00 p.m. EST. Bregman will cut the ribbon during a ceremony where she will be honored with a permanent decal to the front of the bus. She will also be honored with a seat on the bus, which will contain a personalized message to her fans.
