It's now official: two-time Emmy winner Billy J. Miller is out as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless. Fellow Emmy winner David Tom will take over the role, a role he previously played from 1999 to 2002.
"I just heard. So sad. A great actor and a great human being. Best of luck dear friend," Doug Davidson wrote, posting a photo with Miller at this year's Daytime Emmys."Yes, I'm sad about one Billy and excited about the other," Jess Walton. "Broken hearted to see Billy Miller leave the show. I know he'll be successful in the next chapter of his, but I'm so sorry to see him leave. Very few things are black and white.
