Tracey E. Bregman announced during a recent talks show appearance that she and her husband of 23 years have split. The actress has also launched a new line of fine jewelry. Bregman debuted as Y&R's Lauren in 1983.
In an interview on the Canada's Marilyn Denis Show, Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) announced that, after 23 years, she and her husband, real estate developer Ron Recht, have ended their marriage.
"Oh, my God, I'm single!" Bregman laughed in breaking the news. "I feel so good... It's about me being happy now and putting myself first."
The couple wed in 1987. In 1995, the Rechts separated for six months, but reunited. The couple has two sons, Austin, born in 1991, and Landon, born in 1996.

Bregman also made another announcement: she has started her own real-life fine jewelry line. Keen-eyed viewers will see Bregman wearing pieces from her collection on-screen on The Young and the Restless.
The Tracey Bregman Collection, with its "Where Trends Begin" tagline, will be sold exclusively through Canada's The Shopping Channel. The line includes sterling, gold, and diamond jewelry, with prices ranging from $69.95 to $1,499.95.
Bregman joined The Young and the Restless in 1983 in what was to have been a three-month stint. Last month, the actress marked her 28th anniversary with the top-rated CBS soap. The actress appears on the show on a recurring basis to allow her to be with her children.
