Duplaix will bring Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson to life. As the daughter of Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), Nicole is a member of Beyond the Gates' core family.

Nicole is a psychiatrist and philanthropist who seems to have the perfect life and marriage to a successful surgeon. She is warm and compassionate, but not all is what it seems to Nicole. We are sure Nicole is hiding a multitude of secrets, as any good soap opera heroine would.

Duplaix and her fellow cast members were happy to appear in full makeup and wardrobe on November 12 to announce that Beyond the Gates had a premiere date and will debut on CBS on February 24, 2025. In the Instagram video below, you can see Duplaix with Tunie, Davis, and Mosley, who plays Nicole's sister, Dani Dupree.

A native of New York City, Duplaix began her soap opera career in 2004 when she landed the role of Valerie Davis on the now-defunct NBC soap Passions. She played Valerie until 2008 before moving on to One Life to Live from 2009 to 2010 as a recast Rachel Gannon.

According to IMDB, Duplaix has also appeared in several primetime series, including CSI: New York, The Mindy Project, Last Man Standing, and House of Lies.

In December, Duplaix took to Instagram with a motivating message as she described her own recent emotional journey.

"Over the past two years, I was tested more than ever," she wrote. "I lost a lot, but I also won. I failed, I cried, I learned, and most importantly through it all, I loved. My biggest lesson…I’m still here; I did not break. Every obstacle became an opportunity for growth. Every setback a lesson in perseverance and resilience. No matter the hurdles, keep moving forward. To anyone facing struggles, remember: even in the toughest of times,, you are stronger than you realize. Keep pushing forward."
