Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Today on Beyond the Gates, the scene in Bill's office with Tomas was a great one. Tomas said that Bill's daughter was formidable, to which Bill agreed, but then said he has a reputation for winning and being untouchable, and that wasn't going to change, and his daughter would not be effecting that. Bill then sat in his chair, looking very smug. He knew Naomi was about to learn how far his reach was and that he could pull strings, even against her. Naomi met with the woman she represented in the lawsuit against Mike and her father's law firm. They were comfortably seated in a booth, discussing how untouchable Joey Armstrong is and that even the FBi haven't made a case against him stick. The women lament that some people in this world will never be held to account and that trying is pointless. The conversation then moves to the lawsuit, and the ladies feel that Naomi's father, Bill, is, too. Naomi assures the ladies that she knows how her father thinks and the strategies he uses in court and that they can win. Unconvinced, Naomi is told that Bill Hamilton is too powerful, the case is unwinnable, and that now is the time to settle. The look on Naomi's face is incredulous at first, but then she realizes that her father is playing dirty and that he got to the women somehow.
