Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Todays Episode of Beyond the Gates, Martin was napping on the couch when he started having another one of his nightmares. This time we got a little more info, even if it was in the briefest of sequences. We saw a night time scenario, with a car stopped, shouting, and the sound of a proper beat down happening. Someone was shouting what sounded like no no no, and the beating continued. Then we saw a large tyre iron drop to the ground. Thats a hefty weapon of choice and can do some serious damage, and by the way things have been presented thus far, it’s looking more and more like a road rage incident and Martin beat someone like a dusty rug, and that person died. Recall Bill and Hayleys wedding, where Bill was talking to Martin and advised him that it might not be a good idea to shut him out? Veiled threats were made and Bill said he didnt want it to look like overkill. Overkill is the word that stands out. Martin beat someone to death with a tyre iron over something simple and Bill made the whole thing go away. Great for Martin and being a congressman but bad for the Dupree family overall. Bill has the magic bullet that kills any shot at the Presidency for Martin. Smitty isn’t buying the excuses Matin keeps coming up with and his latest of freaking out when Smitty woke him and Martin saying he thought Smitty was a burglar…Smitty isnt dumb and sooner or later he’ll dig up the truth with or wothout Martin.
