The Daily Y.A.P.P For Beyond the Gates, April 25th: Bill gets in Martins face

Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) arrived at the country club as Diego (Carlos Palacio) had finished giving Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) a workout and Martin (Brandon Claybon) was next up for punishment from the club's favorite trainer. Bill asked how his family was doing, and Martin was quick off the bat to throw out comments like calling us family was over the moment you started sleeping with my cousin's best friend and told Bill without any illusions that he was not family anymore. Martin left, but there was something in Bill's eyes that said the conversation was just beginning. After a quick conversation with Naomi, Bill saw Martin coming out and finishing a phone call with Smitty. Bill enquired as to whether Samantha still made a mountain out of her parmesan cheese. Martin said he thought he had made it clear before but unless Bill had a problem with his representative then he and Martin had nothing to talk about.

Bill, sounding very stern, said, “Are you sure this is the route you want to take Martin? Because there's something telling me that you need me.” At this Martin started to look very very worried. Bill just in one quick moment reminded Martin that he had favors he can call in at any time and Martin shouldn't forget how Bill got him out of a bind, one that Martin's whole career has been built on. Bill told Martin not to play this stupid and Martin knew what he meant. The close up shot and menacing tone said it all.
