Welcome to the Beyond the Gates Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on Beyond the Gates

Bill was in his office with his wife Hayley when he decided that he wanted to take her to lunch, not at Orphy Genes, not that it’s synonymous with romance and prestige…wait…it’s a dive actually and it has basic cafe vibes. Bill even dismissed the idea of taking Hayley to Uptown, maybe the dim lighting and constant blue hue wasn't appealing? We’ll never know. The venue dujour was of course the Fairmont Crest Country Club. Despite Hayley protesting, Bill took his wife to the country club and kissed in the entryway before being seated. Taylor, one of the staff there begrudgingly greeted Bill and deliberately ignored Hayley, taking Bill’s order then walking off before Hayley could order. Bill wasn't having it and called him back and said he was going to be old fashioned and order for his wife, forcing Taylor to take her order as well. Dani was at the club having a stellar meeting with the head of First Gen Charity Board and had noticed Bill and Hayley arrive and be seated and all the affection, her face looks like she had sucked an orchard of lemons. Bill and Hayley had a front row seat for Dani getting fired from the Board of her charity and Hayley had plenty to smile about. She was having a romantic lunch with her husband and life was taking a turn for the better, to seal the moment and maybe Dani’s feelings, Bill and Hayley shared another passionate kiss for ALL to see. You sly dog Bill, still my favorite character on this new show.
