Joining the CBS Daytime schedule in February 2025 is a new soap called Beyond the Gates. To accommodate the addition, the lineup will be slightly changed until then.

Beyond the Gates will follow the lives of a wealthy Black family in a "posh, gated community." Viewers will recognize the Daytime Emmy and WGA award-winning writer and showrunner Michele Val Jean, who has written more than 2,000 episodes of daytime dramas. Known for her work on The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, Val Jean will also be an executive producer alongside Sheila Ducksworth, Leon Russell, Derrick Johnson, and Kimberly Doebereiner.
