What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) hosts a farewell hoorah to Chelsea's (Rhonnirose Mantilla) modelling career and showcases the new handbag line that Chelsea and Kat (Colby Muhammed) are launching. Everyone from Fairmont Crest is in attendance and is dressed to represent.

Ashley (Jen Jacob) is not a happy gal. During the interviews for Andre’s (Sean Freeman) video documentary Ashley rushes over to Andre who is just beside the nurses station filming Ashley and tells him, “I swear if you give a damn about our friendship you will delete that footage right now.” What has Andre captured? Is it a moment between them that Derek (Ben Gavin) shouldn't see? Or did it catch Ashley saying something that she shouldn't have? Shanice (Ernestine Johnson), the hospital gossip queen, is always present for moments like that. Things have been awkward between Ashley and Andre since the near-kiss incident, and not even dinner with all three of them could fix that. Next week on Beyond the Gates, look for this to blow up.

Next week on Beyond the Gates, Leslie (Trisha Mann Grant) tosses Eva (Ambyr Michelle) a stack of bricks, the fifty thousand dollars in cash that Ted (Maurice Johnson) had used to pay Leslie off, or he thinks he has. Leslie tells Eva they will lie low and let Ted think he has won. Then, when he least expects it, at the anniversary bash, the pair will make their move. Leslie looks pretty happy about this!

Last but not least, next week, Anita (Tamara Tunie) is held tightly by Vernon (Clifton Davis), who is both looking alarmed and distressed. Anita tells Vernon that she's fearful that this will only end one way, and that's terribly. This must be regarding Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) being sued by Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and that Bill, if he thinks his name might be besmirched, will lay bare all the secrets the Duprees have buried. Specifically, the one regarding Martin, this will undoubtedly kill his shot at the presidency before it even gains momentum. The fallout from that alone will have a massive impact.
