What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Chelsea (Rhonnirose Mantilla) goes to Martin (Brandon Claybon) for some advice and it’s not anything we could have guessed. Martin says that he is always ready to lend his expertise, with just a hint of trepidation. Chelsea, looking very pleased, says, “Great, I want to talk about threesomes,” and proceeds to walk off, presumably to somewhere they can talk in private.

Ted and Nicole

It’s getting very close indeed to the night of nights, the anniversary celebration. Ted (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) are sitting at home on the couch with strawberries and champagne and Ted, facing Nicole, says, “This is the beginning of what will be truly an epic anniversary celebration.” He’s not wrong, this promises to be a surprise for sure and one neither they nor viewers will forget. Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) still has a few plays left in the playbook and this week is going to see her ramp up her efforts.

Bill, the keeper of the secrets

Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett) and his wife Hayley (Marquita Goings) are at home chatting and Hayley can't believe her ears, she says to Bill, “He cheated…on his wife?!” “No way…Ted did not cheat on Nicole?” Bill smirks and smiles looking at Hayley, confirming without words exactly what she thought she heard. Leslie said Ted’s lawyers bullied her, Ted’s lawyers were the offices of Bill Hamilton Esq. This will be part of the revelations to come, no doubt.

It begins

Everyone is gathered at the Country Club in Fairmont Crest for the big event, Ted and Nicole's Anniversary party, so we can safely assume Ted didn't get his wish to fly off to St Barts with his wife instead. Something has just happened and focusing on the table with Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) we see Vernon lean closer to Anita who looks very worried, says, “What in blue blazes.”

Now focusing on Ted and Nicole at the front of the room, Nicole says, “Someone needs to tell me what the hell is going on here.” What has just happened? Has Leslie replaced a prominent photo of Ted and Nicole with a photo of Ted, Leslie …and Eva? (Ambyr Michelle) and it’s just been revealed? Over in another section we have Kat (Colby Muhammed) and Mona (Karan Kendrick), Kat looking very upset turns to Mona and says, “Why do i suddenly feel like i'm going to lose family.” Oh boy, this is going to be a big week.
