What to expect on Beyond the Gates
After the first week of non-stop soapy drama hit the airwaves, Beyond the Gates isn’t letting up on the momentum. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley’s (Marquita Goings) wedding got off with a bang, and it has all of Fairmont Crest (and all of us) talking.
Last week, Bill ducked when the gun went off, but did anyone get hit? We’ll definitely find out next week what exactly went down. Oh, if those walls in the Fairmont Crest Country Club could talk. Luckily, the staff, the guests, and the other patrons most definitely can!
While Dupree family member Dani (Karla Mosley) is bringing unwanted attention to the family, another has a secret. Congressman Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon), to be exact. His grandparents have worked hard to keep it private, but Bill knows what it is. After Dani spent the week throwing fists, drinks, and golf clubs, is Bill more likely to spill some tea? Bill thinks it’s time for payback.
Just in case, Martin goes to his mom, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), and tells her, “You need to be the first one to know.” How many secrets does Martin have, or does he know someone else’s? Nicole’s been busy trying to get her sister in line, but did she know that her son was in trouble?
Meanwhile, Andre (Sean Freeman) is back from Bali and he’s fitting right in by flirting his way through Fairmont Crest. While he’s already got his hands on Dani in the bedroom, he’s got his eyes on Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob). Will Ashley’s determination to stay loyal to her boyfriend Derek (Ben Gavin) be too much of a challenge for him to turn away? The nurse and the fireman might be about to have their cliche romance rocked.
Also, soap fans, Cady McLain arrived on Friday, and next week, get ready for Jon Lindstrom to make his series debut as Joey Armstrong.
